HEALTH & SAFETY POLICY STATEMENT (Cleaning Division)

PART 1 GENERAL STATEMENT OF POLICY (Cleaning Division)

1.1 The Citizen Group acknowledges and accepts its statutory responsibilities for securing the health, safety and welfare of all its employees, contractors over which it has control and of visiting members of the public.

1.2 The Company will provide and maintain safe and healthy working conditions, in particular ensuring as far as reasonably practicable that:

1.2.1 The Company premises and all equipment are kept in a clean and safe condition; (Cleaning Division)

1.2.2 Working practices are safe;

1.2.3 All employees receive information, training and supervision in how to carry out their work with regard for their own and others’ safety;

1.2.4 Contractors and visitors are made aware of the procedures and rules in place to safeguard health and safety;

1.2.5 safety factors are given important consideration when any changes are made to the Company’s operation or when new equipment is specified and installed.

1.3 The Company will encourage all employees to be actively involved in maintaining the safest possible operating conditions and practices.

1.4. The Company will carry out a regular review of this policy to ensure that the highest standards of health and safety are maintained.
